Valentine's Day...

Well, another valentine's day, another day I don't have a date. Did you know that I've NEVER dated? EVER! That's right. It makes me feel very lonely sometimes...I know that some people (especially my mother) respects me for it, saying that it's important not to get pulled into all this "need a man" business. But you know what? It sucks! Yeah, I'm going to still live by my principles but it doesn't mean I can't complain about it...does it? :confused: ...hmmm...
Well it wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to live with your brother who HAS a girlfriend he loves and adores. I AM happy for him, I truly am. But it just reminds ME that I don't have anyone--let me rephrase that--I NEVER had anyone. You know the whole "love then loss" thing,
yeah, I don't even have THAT!

It sucks.

So I'm going to eat as much chocolate as possible (just so much so it won't cause my waist-size to expand). And try to generate that "in love" feeling.

...yay...

I love feeling sorry for myself :XD: lol

But, seriously, I LOVE CHOCOLATE! So...no problem here. =D (I'm fine now, really)

To all you lovers out there, I don't hate you (no, seriously, I don't) and I hope you have a nice lovely love-filled evening! :heart:

((oh, and yes, I do know valentine's day is just a corporate holiday they invented to sell merchandise...but hey, you can still love love right?))

Valentines Day marks the day Chris broke up with me, remember that jerk? I celebrate it now XD...

also valentines day sprung from ancient rome when a priest by the name of Valentine married couples even though the emporer had forbidden it. Finally he got caught and executed but the last letter he wrote he signed "Your Valentine"

Well, you know, it's kinda like I love LOVE! I don't necessarily want a boyfriend I just want to love someone and be loved in return =) (Meh! I'm so corny :XD:)

Hey, you're definitely not the only one spending Valentine's alone. Although, admittedly, I've never associated this holiday with romantic love exclusively...my mom has always made it special for us as a family, so no matter what, no matter if I'm single or not, I always get love from my Momma.
I remember Kalyssa once called today "Singles Awareness Day" back in high school. Maybe we should celebrate that!

Yeah, I tried to talk to my mommy but she had to work that day so I couldn't talk to her until 10pm...I was already asleep by then though =P
