For those of you who like Hey Arnold!, we all want to see The Jungle Movie, right? Well, me and a few of the guys from the Arnold's Eyes forum (here:
[link]) just thought up of a neat idea. (Well, I consider it neato anyways, lol)
How about we, as the fans, create our *own* TJM? Pool our ideas together and stuff to create a full story on what we think would happen in the story. Not just what we WANT to happen, but what we think would realistically happen, based on what we already know, form what Craig has told us.
I just feel we need something to get Nick's attention-- maybe by doing something 'different' they will listen? (Although I liked the idea of coloring in the HA! fanarts and mailing them out for the DVD's)
And even if they don't decide to do it; our little project should create some nostalgia and hopefully some satisfaction on the fans wanting to see what'd happen. Heck, we might make Craig a little happier too.
And maybe once we get the story together, we could each '
erform it out' in our own ways, like the mediums we know how to do best (or are most excited about).
Flank wants to create a full-fledged game, Me and Callnowia are thinking of doing a comic, but many other people can do as many different or the same mediums as they want to! You could do a game, comic, a fanfic, a live-action action video, a series of illustrations, a short animated cartoon of their own, or just about anything you want. I don't want to limit any creativity here.

You can work in a group (like a writer/artist team) or alone if you'd like. It's up to you~

Plus, I think it would be nice to see the different outcomes that people come up with or the little inserts they put in it themselves. Everyone doesn't have to agree with EVERYthing the rest of the group agrees on. I just don't want anyone to feel limited, like, if they come up with a neat idea in the middle of the story-- that'd still fit in with the rest of the story-- I don't want it to be like, "oh, but we didn't agree on this, or so-and-do doesn't like this idea, so I can't use it."
I just want it to be fun. ^^ And give us a different way of expressing how much we want the movie to be made. In the end, we could send THAT to Nickelodeon. (I don't know if we're allowed to send CD's to Nick or something (concerning Flank's idea of a game).) Maybe something a little different would get their attention more, ya know? Especially if we get lots of different people to make lots of different versions of it, it could really get some attention. And it could also wake up the dormant fans of HA! on different communities and stuff.
I'm not saying there should only be one script either. Us gathering our ideas together or whatnot would be just saying/explaining the different scenes, and what order they'd be in. Not what exactly the characters would say, word for word.
Like the premise would be just saying,
~This is the scene where...
-Arnold confesses to Helga
-They kiss in a hurry
~Instead of it being like...
-(Arnold and Helga are running away from...something)-
Arnold: (surprised expression) "I can't believe you didn't tell me!"
Helga: (annoyed, sarcastic) "Well, what did you think, football-face? Like I'm gonna just *confess* and everything'd be all hunky-dory and we'd live happily ever after just like the rest of your happy, honest friends. You didn't even like me!"
Arnold: "I would have liked you sooner."
Helga: (after about five seconds)".........o_o.....Huh?"
You know? ^^
And, of course, we would have to give credit for everyone who contributed ideas.

4. Brainy helps Helga in some way
LisaBartlett : helga and Brainy had a great scene
LisaBartlett : he did his usual annoying thing,
LisaBartlett : appearing behind her etc
LisaBartlett : but then he helps her in a huge way in act three.
LisaBartlett : he kind of brings her back to life.
LisaBartlett : symbolically
5. Arnold finds his parents.
6. We find out Arnold's last name. From What Craig has said, it's either "Shortman" or "Short".'
7. They enter the 5th grade.
If you want something specific to happen in your version of the story, you don't have to tell us, lol. But if you ever had just a LITTLE idea of what you wanted to happen in TJM, you should come along in the chat! ^_^ Even if you don't contribute any ideas, it might be fun to talk about HA! in general.
The purpose of this chat is to just get as many different viewpoints as we can to talk about what could realistically happen with the characters. ( Plus, I think we are a fun, nice community/fandom. We mean no harm, lol XD
